Makeup Routine

If you were all wondering .. yes that is me hahaha :).

I thought I would go through all the products I am currently wearing. They are all Highstreet so no overly expensive products to haul. Always a good thing hey!

Lets start with foundation. Always a tricky one for me. The amount of foundations I have tried over the years and i'm still in a quest to find that one - the one that's just special.
At the moment It almost feels that the hunt is over and there will never be that 'ONE' where it does exxxaacctttly what it is supposed too do.
Soooo (yawn) the one in use at the moment is the healthy mix foundation from BOURJOIS. Which claims to give skin a radiant boost, (agreed) leave it looking flawless (meehhh) and last up to 8 hours (No!). The thing with me though is I do have tricky skin. So I do know there is only so much a product can do (THIS IS WHERE THE QUEST FOR A GREAT PRIMER COMES IN...) Enter open pores, oily T-Zone, dry patches and a little uneven skin tone to deal with.
However it is a nice product to use... I'm sorry it's not you, i'ts me.

The rest of the products don't have such a hard time as the foundation - Concealer is the ever loved Lasting perfection from Collection, the use of contouring comes from natural dazzle bronzer from Barry M which I use to warm up skin then use sleek's contour palette  for my cheekbones.

I will then go ahead and do my eyebrows which for the minute is LOOK Beauty's eyebrow palette. Depending on how I feel - which translates into, can I  be bothered - at the minute that means for eyes I will use my sleek shader in the crease of my eyes and blend, add Maybelline's gel eyeliner in black to the roots of the lashes and smudge a little and add Benefits Mascara in They're real

To finish, I use sleeks Lip Palette in Ballet. I am unsure what the colour is called but it's the darkest colour out of the 4 and is the colour I am wearing in the pic :).  The use for a powder is somewhat errrrrrrmmmm...... not wanted. I have never been a powder lover, which sounds odd for a makeup artist to say. Don't get me wrong I will do a dusting down the T-Zone but I hate the whole matte look. I don't feel human. I want that luminosity not flat looking skin!

The very last to add is .. What is the best primer. Any suggestions?
